Fruit for Flavour
Apple Swap 2026
For eight weeks leading up to harvest we open the farm every Saturday morning and take in your surplus apples. Bring what you have and choose what you'd like in return — cash, cider, chutney, Pomme d'Or or merchandise.
A few apples from one tree or a whole orchard's worth, it all goes into the same press. Yours come back as cider everyone gets to drink.

How it works

Step one
Bring your apples to the farm on any of the dates above.

Step Two
We'll weigh them and tell you what they're worth.

Step three
Take your pick: cash, cider, chutney, Pomme d'Or or merchandise.

Before you come
Any variety, cooking or eating. Windfalls are fine, ideally not bruised but the odd blemish is fine — nothing rotten or mouldy, as one bad apple really does spoil a pressing.
Loose in crates or bags is easiest. Bring as much or as little as you like: half a carrier bag is as welcome as a trailer load.

Finding the farm
There's a one-way system on swap mornings — you'll come in one way and leave another, so nobody has to turn round on the lane. Follow the signs, or the map here.
1 — Weigh in. Come down the track past the orchard to the yard, and we'll weigh your apples.
2 — Park up and take your pick. Carry on into the parking area, then come and choose what you'd like — cash, cider, chutney, Pomme d'Or etc.
3 — On your way. Head out by the top drive, not the way you came in.
