In the heart of Guernsey’s countryside, with views of the English Channel, lies our farm—home to Rocquette Cider.
Our aim has always been straightforward: to produce quality local cider. Starting from scratch in 1998, we planted our first apple trees ourselves. From those early days, we’ve grown into a small, independent company that continues Guernsey’s long-standing cider heritage.
Guernsey has a rich history of apple growing and cider making dating back to the 16th century, when cider produced here was exported to England. Inspired by this tradition, we founded the Rocquette Cider Company. We began by planting 3,000 trees around our farm, and as demand grew, we expanded our orchards to over 5,500 trees.
We’ve invested in modern equipment to meet the needs of our customers in the Channel Islands and beyond. Despite our growth, we remain committed to producing cider that reflects the character and quality of our island.
Our orchards benefit from Guernsey’s temperate climate, Atlantic breezes, and sunny days, helping us produce exceptional cider. Our team works from offices in the barn, surrounded by the orchards we planted. You’ll often find us tending to the trees, accompanied by our dog Tiggy.

Every apple used in Rocquette Cider comes from our 5,500 trees and from local growers who participate in our Apple Swap.
